The role of the Chancery Office consists in issuing official documents, granting marriage dispensations, providing necessary indults or faculties, overseeing the application of the law, seeing to the preservation of documents in the Diocesan Archives, putting into effect any acts of the Archbishop or his Vicars General and providing information about the Archdiocese.
