PASTORAL APPOINTMENTS
FOR THE ENGLISH SECTOR
OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF OTTAWA

The Most Rev. Marcel A.J. Gervais, Apostolic Administrator of Ottawa, is pleased to announce the following pastoral appointments for the English Sector of the archdiocese:

Pastors       CHANGES

-Rev. Frank BREWER, currently Pastor at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Ottawa, is appointed Pastor at Divine Infant Parish in Orleans for a six-year term effective August 31^st, 2007.

-Rev. Stephen Liang, currently Associate Pastor of St. Patricks Fallowfield Parish in Nepean, is appointed Pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Ottawa for a six-year term effective August 31^st, 2007.

-Rev. Mark Slatter, currently Administrator at Divine Infant Parish in Orleans, is appointed Pastor at St. Philip Parish in Richmond and St. Clare Mission in Dwyer Hill for a six-year term effective August 31^st, 2007.

Pastors       RENEWALS

-Rev. Daniel Hawkins, M.S.F., with the approval of his Superior, has been granted a one-year extension of his appointment as Pastor at St. Martin de Porres Parish in Nepean.

-Rev. Kevin Milaney has been granted a one-year extension of his appointment as Pastor at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Ottawa.

-Rev. Fr. Stephen Lian Pham Quoc, O.P., with the approval of his Superior, has been granted a three-year extension of his appointment as Pastor at Our Lady of La Vang in Ottawa.

-Rev. Thomas Riopelle has been granted a three-year extension of his appointment as Pastor at St. Patricks Fallowfield Parish in Nepean.

-Rev. Adam Tabak has been granted a one-year extension of his appointment as Rector at St. Leopold Mandic Parish in Ottawa.

OTHERS

-Rev. Daniel Dubroy has been appointed Chaplain at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, effective September 1^st, 2007.

-Rev. Daryl Kennedy has been appointed Chaplain at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus, effective September 1^st, 2007 without prejudice to his nomination as Pastor at St. Edith Stein Parish in Rockland.

-Rev. William Penney has been appointed Chaplain at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus effective September 1^st, 2007.

-Rev. Fr. Mieczyslaw Burdzy, OMI, with the approval of his Superior, has been appointed Administrator at St. Hyacinths Parish in Ottawa for the duration of the sick leave of Rev. Fr. Stanislaw Kowal, OMI, effective immediately.

-Msgr. Kevin Beach, P.H., has been appointed Administrator at St. Brigid Parish for the duration of the sick leave of Rev. Fr. Tim Amyot, OSM, effective immediately.

-Rev. Gerard Monaghan will continue on sabbatical until December 31^st, 2007.

-Rev. John Whyte will be on sabbatical from September 1^st to December 31^st, 2007.

-Rev. Bosco Wong will be on sabbatical from January 1^st to April 30^th, 2007.
