PASTORAL APPOINTMENTS
ENGLISH SECTOR OF THE
ARCHDIOCESE
The Most Reverend Marcel Gervais, Archbishop of Ottawa, is
pleased to announce the following changes in pastoral appointments. These
appointments take effect on July 1st 2004.
Fr. Tim Amyot assumes the position of Administrator at
Holy Redeemer Parish, Kanata.
Fr. Ibodimma Titus Egbueh is appointed Administrator at
St. Monica Parish, Nepean.
Fr. Phil Hart, C.S.P. is appointed Administrator at St.
Leonard Parish, Manotick.
Fr. Bill Hunt, currently Pastor at St. Monica Parish,
Nepean: on leave of absence.
Fr. Lukose Kochupurackal, C.M.F., currently Interim
Administrator of St. Leonard Parish, Manotick, is appointed to the Pastoral
team at Holy Cross Parish, Ottawa.
Fr. Leslie Lazslo, currently Pastor of St. Ignatius
Parish and Hungarian Community Chaplain retires as Pastor but continues serving
as chaplain of the Hungarian Community.
Fr. John Likozar, CC, is appointed Pastor at Queen of the
Most Holy Rosary Parish, Ottawa.
Fr. Yves Marchildon, CC, is appointed Associate Pastor at
St. Maurice Parish, Nepean.
Fr. Tim McCauley, currently Associate Pastor at Holy
Cross Parish, is appointed Pastor at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish,
Russell.
Fr. Bill Penney, currently Pastor at St. Andrew Community
in Nepean: on sabbatical leave.
Fr. James Raphel, C.M.F., currently Administrator of Our
Lady of Perpetual Help, Ottawa, is appointed to the Pastoral team at Holy Cross
Parish, Ottawa.
Fr. George Sammut, CC, is assigned to the Diocese of St.
Catherine.
Fr. Paul Shepherd, currently Pastor of Holy Redeemer
Parish, Kanata, will be on sabbatical leave.
Fr. Don Tuori, currently Pastor of Holy Cross Parish,
Ottawa, is appointed Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Ottawa.
Fr. John Whyte, currently Pastor at Our Lady of the
Miraculous Medal Parish, Russell, is appointed Pastor at St. Andrew Community
in Nepean.
Fr. Michael Wright is appointed Pastor at St. Ignatius
Parish, Ottawa.
